ABOUT THE BAND

In the beginning there was a duo called Fireball. The duo played around the UK at venues ranging from WM Clubs to Rock nights. Two years on the road playing WM clubs is enough for any man to take. The same old thing week in, week out (you know the game) ‘Your sitting in my seat’ or ’hot pies ave come’ or who’s for ‘Bingo’. The only good thing going for it was the cheap beer, which was obviously thrown down the neck at a high rate of knots. This has certain effects on the grey matter, which deteriorates at an alarming rate. The duo in question now with lack of brain cells decided enough was enough, lets start a rock band one said. The said band became very popular for the performances and were invited to play in Daytona, Florida at the Harley Davidson Bike weeks and Biketoberfests, which take place every year when the moon is full. Anyone ever attending one of those gigs will know what I mean 650,000 bikers from around the world converge to look at bikes, ride them, to drink and last of all to watch bands and girls play! This is entertainment, the boys think.lets do it. From then on the band took off  and has since gigged around the U.K. as well as foreign shores and are hoping to carry on for many moons yet.

When in the states had to perform at the venues for four hours at a time, hence the extensive set list. Bit rough on the old throat but the free beers help. After a change in line up in October 2004, Fireball was born. Still bashing out rock from Ozzie to AC/DC, from Bad Co to Free, Led Zep and many others. Now a three piece the sound has not changed from the rock we all know and love, Tex on guitar has brought a whole new feel to the band with his superb style. Gregg on drums is as dynamic as ever; his drum solos are legendary. .  although the band ain't been to the States for a couple of years we still have a lot o friends over there and hopefully  will  get over at some point in the future to play a few gigs...
